Evolution Learning Technologies Acquires Nova Audio Visual of Edmonton
October 1st, 2008Evolution Learning Technologies is pleased to announce the acquisition of Nova Audio Visual Ltd. of Edmonton Alberta. Nova Audio Visual has been supplying schools, business, government and religious institutions with audio visual services, products and installations since 1980. The addition of Nova to the Evolution family will allow Evolution to now provide our Alberta educational, business, and government customers with an expanded line up of the world's leading AV technology, including SMART Technologies' full line of products, including the SMARTBoard interactive white board. Nova's educational customers will certainly benefit from this addition to their product offerings, as they can now turn to Evolution/Nova for all their classroom technology needs. Steve Read, CEO of Evolution, stated: "We are very pleased and proud to add Nova Audio Visual to our growing company. Nova is a very well established AV company with 28 years of experience, and they have a very loyal customer base who have come to expect the same kind of dedication to service excellence that Evolution has become known for in our offices in Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnpeg and Thunder Bay. Having an office in Edmonton makes a great deal of sense, and we feel very fortunate to have been able to acquire a company that has such a great reputation for quality work. Adding products to their line up such as SMART Technologies, NEC, Audio Enhancement, Crestron, etc. will only serve to improve their already stellar reputation." Former owners of Nova, Nancy Wright and Eric Schickle have agreed to stay on with Evolution and continue to operate the Edmonton branch, ensuring consistency and familiarity for our clients. Our customers are invited to contact either Nancy or Eric at 780-451-4688, or James Tapankov, our learning technologies consultant, at 780-886-8258 or e-mail at jtapankov@evolutionav.ca, for more information or to ask about what this acquisition means for you.
